Rider Bio - Keith Woodward

Name: Keith Woodward, Rider 1688
Home Towns: Madrid, New York and San Francisco
Bike: 2005 Specialized Comp Super Numb Nuts

Like Kemp I got back into biking last summer. There was no particular reason for this other than the fact that I wasn't sure if my new building's foundation could support the Lifecycle machine I had in my rental flat. Plus, I was getting this really silly six pack set of abs and the wee wife was looking for a softer gentler Keith. I obliged and got the bike for appearances sake. But soon enough I was heading out over the Golden Gate 4-5 times a week and eventually hit about 100 miles a week.

This was excellent preparation for the AIDS Lifecycle event from a purely physical standpoint but it still left me woefully unprepared for the severe beating my arse took over the course of the week. Got Chamois Butt'R? Anyway, the ride is over and I'm almost able to walk again. I'm proud of my personal achievement and the accomplishment we made as a team. We were part of a great effort that completed a grueling ride for a worthy cause.

Until next year.

Name: Kemp Mullaney
Home Town: Dallas, TX
Bicycle: 2005 Specialized Allez Triple Comp

I got back on a bike in the summer of 2005 after hearing my teammate Alex Bower rave about the experience he had on AIDS LifeCycle 4. I started riding for execise and decided that ALC 5 would be a great goal. After participating in the ride this Spring I immediately sign-ed up to do it again in 2007.

My favorite ride is from SF to Tiburon, and depending on whether or not there is a stop at Sam's, a nice ride back, or a trip on the ferry.

When I am not riding, I like to try to convince people to buy things they do not need (A.K.A. working in advertising.)  You can find out more about my job at www.kempmullaney.com.

TeamNoe.org Re-launch

On Saturday, June 9, Team Noe completed the seven day AIDS LifeCycle 5 ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Our team raised over $15,000 for the SF AIDS Foundation and the LA Gay & Lesbian Center.

The ride went well for all of us and some have already signed-up to do it again next year. As part of this dedication, we have re-launched TeamNoe.org with a new design. Pictures and testimonials from the riders will be posted soon.

The team would like to thank all of our donors and friends who supported us. Without you, this would not have been possible. Thank you again for all your help.

Sincerely,

Team Noe
